No Clear Focal Point

I have had several photos rejected because of “no clear focal point”. I have a couple theories for this.
1) I know what I am looking at and what I am focussing on, the reviewer doesn’t so there may be times when this happens. 2) my computer screen sucks or my eyesight sucks so it looks okay to me but on a better screen it looks different. I am leaning towards number 1.

I over saturated this one a bit too, I think. It is kind of difficult to guess because the RAW file doesn’t convert to JPEG looking exactly the same.
